Father Charles Gibney

We have renamed our council in honor of our Chapter Chaplin of our Knights of Columbus Council.
At the time Father Gibney was the pastor at Christ The King parish in Regina Saskatchewan.

Father Gibney was ordained to the priesthood in the Archdiocese of Regina in 1952.

He was one of 13 children, and during his 40 years as a priest served in several parishes in the City of Regina including Christ the King parish from 1980 - 1987. He also served in many other rural parishes in the Archdiocese. 

He passed away in 1992, and our Knights of Columbus Council soon after was renamed in his honor.
